DUTCH PICTURE INDUSTRY was established in 2004 by Milan Collin and Brechtje Smidt. Their experience in film and photo production is extensive. Many of their productions have been broadcasted worldwide and awarded on international film festivals.

Our comprehensive knowledge of the Dutch production scene ensures that DUTCH PICTURE INDUSTRY’s clients will always be offered solutions that are reliable, cost effective and efficiently produced.

Production

For every project, we look at which media tools are most effective, from short promotional films, social videos, animation, videographics, and 360 video.

Discovery Channel worked with DUTCH PICTURE INDUSTRY for it’s first Dutch adventure commission: Mission Indian Ocean. A very challenging project because of the shear toughness and unpredictability of solo ocean rowing. DUTCH PICTURE INDUSTRY impressed us with their dedication, passion for outdoor adventure filming and their keen eye for telling an authentic story

Meet our team

Founders Brechtje Smidt and Milan Collin are the key individuals on the team, each possessing up to ten years of experience in marketing, production, directing and filming abroad. Freelancers and interns, depending on the number and size of the projects, support the core team.

Brechtje ensures the original creative drive and safeguards the quality of our productions. She is responsible for inspiring content by directing many of our productions.

Milan Collin

Founder / Executive Producer

Milan ensures all production requirements for our documentaries. He surveys the innovations in the field to improve our series. Through his positive drive he inspires our clients and motivates our team.

Creative Director

Annebelle is our head of productions. She has the idea's and creates the storyboards. Her directing, editing and animation skills are madness.
